2013 City Engineers Association of Minnesota Conference

Earlier this year, Flat Rock Geographics attended the 2013 City Engineers Association of Minnesota (CEAM) Annual Conference at the Eagle Brown Heritage Center in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota.  Attendees gathered at this annual meeting to learn about what is happening in the engineering industry as it relates to the world around them.

Our President, Blaine Hackett, delivered a presentation with Dave Berkowitz, Director of Public Works/City Engineer during a session focused on innovative management tools.  They discussed how the City of Andover has implemented a cloud-based asset management solution to reduce costs, increase staff access and streamline their asset management software by bringing mapping information directly to and from the field via laptops, tablets and smart phones.
